Meet the Leadership

Victoria Gibney, MPH

Victoria completed her Master’s degree in Public Health at the University of Florida and has been an Alachua County resident for nearly 10 years. As a member of Tobacco Free Alachua, Victoria has worked on addressing the vaping epidemic among youth, creating smoke-free and tobacco-free spaces, and celebrated partners who have led the way in tobacco-free policy changes.

“As a member of this community, I am very proud of Alachua County for consistently being a leader when it comes to protecting our residents from the harmful effects of tobacco. Now we have another opportunity to lead the way by raising the age of legal tobacco purchase to 21.” – Victoria Hunter Gibney
